AMERITRADE FIELD : Chicago, IL - Will old Wrigley Field soon be named Ameritrade Field? The Tribune Company and Sam Zell have agreed to sell the Cubs to the Ricketts Family, founders of Ameritrade. The sale should fetch a cool ONE BILLION dollars!

NO WOOD : Cleveland, OH - Once a rookie sensation, Kerry Wood is now with the Cleveland Indians as a middle relief pitcher. Wood was traded for Kevin Gregg. Last year Gregg, then with the Florida Marlins, went 7-8 with a 3.41 ERA and 29 saves. His nine blown saves tied for most in the majors in 2008!

Wood, now 31, signed for a whopping $20.5 million for two years. Also gone are RP Bobby Howry - San Francisco Giants, utility guy Marc DeRosa - Cleveland Indians, and outfielder Felix Pie - Baltimore Orioles.
